Description of the Opportunity
The Youth Ambassador Programme in partnership with the International Baccalaureate (IB) as part of Festival of Hope supports young changemakers to create and build upon social impact projects addressing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through online workshops and discussions, opportunities for mentorship and ongoing engagement in a closed Discord channel, Youth Ambassadors learn, ideate and collaborate to make a positive impact in their communities while addressing global questions. In addition to providing support to these young changemakers, this programme builds a supportive, kind, inspiring and safe online community of young people aged 13 – 19.

As a Youth Ambassador you will:

- Gain confidence to develop your own idea through workshops, webinars and events that are geared towards helping you develop your social impact project

- Receive a Certificate of Completion by HundrED and IBO
- Most importantly, there isn’t a fee for the programme. This programme is entirely free of charge.
Eligibility
Are you a good fit?
- You are currently between ages 13 to 19
- You want to make a difference in the world
- You excited to create (or continue to work on) a project related to an SDG
- Every applicant has to submit their own application through their own HundrED profile. In order to apply, applicants need to create a HundrED account. Every application is saved in the account of the applicant.
- This programme is held online, so you will need access to a mobile device and internet. The online conversations are held on Discord, so you will be required to create an account.
