Description of the Opportunity

The SIDS youth from the Caribbean, Pacific, and AIMS regions, this opportunity wants to hear from you. On 12 December 2025, from 5 to 6 p.m. AST (virtual), they are bringing young people together to talk about the real issues affecting their islands, including climate, safety in their communities, and opportunities in the ocean economy. The SIDS Youth Data Partnership Lab is a space to share your experiences, learn from others, and build ideas that can improve life in your islands. No special knowledge is needed. Your voice is enough.

Benefits

  • This Lab brings together youth, governments, regional bodies, and UN partners to explore how data and digital innovation can strengthen implementation of the Antigua and Barbuda Agenda for SIDS (ABAS).
  • Selected applicants may be invited to share short showcases, join discussions, or help shape partnership concepts.
  • Your input will support the co-creation of practical, inclusive data solutions for SIDS.

Eligibility

  • They are seeking participants and contributors involved in areas such as climate and environmental data, blue and green economy innovation, social development and education data, digital transformation, open data, and responsible AI.
